Kirk Schoenherr is a guitarist, keyboardist, vocalist, producer, and composer. He is a touring and recording musician, based out of Brooklyn, New York.
Kirk has played sold-out venues across five continents and many of the world’s biggest music festivals, including Coachella, Lollapalooza, Glastonbury, Primavera Sound, and Laneway Festival. His national television appearances include The Ellen Degeneres Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and the Billboard Music Awards. He has also performed at many iconic venues including the Sydney Opera House, the 02 Brixton Academy, and Red Rocks Amphitheater in Denver, Colorado.
Kirk has worked with Tegan and Sara, Elle King, Chet Faker, Dawn Richard, Madison Beer, Big Time Rush, Mae Muller, San Fermin, Blonder, Blanco Brown, Vérité, Skaters, Kaye, Soleima, Casual Male, John Agnello, Alexz Johnson, and many other artists.
In 2014, Kirk played and sang in Icelandic artist Ragnar Kjartansson’s installation, “Me, My Mother, My Father, and I” at The New Museum in New York. He has also composed and performed with New York City dance companies and several improvising ensembles, as well as released records of his own collaborative projects, Companion (2012), and Smother Party (2011).
